This Block of the Month has been designed using a collection of nine embroidery stitches that highlight the different 17 healing herbs. Finished block sizes are (13) 7” x 16” and (4) 7”x7”. Quilt finished at 47” x 56”.

Fabrics used are Grunge Paper White by Grey Basics for Moda Fabrics and Thatched, color Scarlet, by Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics.

Techniques include traditional embroidery stitches and piecing. The embroidery stitches used are: back stitch, chain stitch, lazy daisy stitch, fly stitch, French know, outline stitch, pistil stitch, split stitch, and the stem stitch.

This Block of the Month is available as a Kit for the entire quilt. Kit includes fabric for blocks, sashing, border, and binding. As well as (5) 10 gram balls of Presencia Perle Cotton tin color 1906.
